This Week in Kyoto and Osaka – 1 November 2022
This week, I’ve been guiding a large group tour organised by the J-Team on behalf of Earthbound Expeditions. In this post, I’m showcasing some of my favourite photos from our time in Osaka, Kyoto and their environs.
Kameoka: Always great to see the tanuki at Torokko Kameoka Station, the fourth and final train station on the Sagano Scenic Line, a sightseeing train that follows the Hozukyo Ravine and runs along the old JR West Sagano Line.

Kyoto: I’ve seen this beauty – the Kinkakuji Golden Pavilion at Rokuonji – many, many times but rarely as good as this!

Osaka: Representing (the majority of) our group in front of the iconic Glico Running Man in Dotonburi, Osaka.

Sakai: Incredible view looking back to Osaka from Sakai City Hall!

Michi and Mac – together again for the first time: An honour and a pleasure to team up with the one and only Michiko to make sure our customers had the absolute best time and the trip of a lifetime. I love working with like-minded professionals to enhance the experience of our guests.
